Hybrid Inverters
A hybrid inverter is an externally or internally mounted device that converts direct current (DC) electricity from your solar panels or other renewable sources into alternating current (AC) electricity.
We currently offer hybrid inverters from Luxpower.
Programmed Charging and Discharging: Fixed period & smart charging or discharging functions, simple to work with. Cheaper electricity available, the LUX monitoring allows user to select fixed charge periods to fill batteries & hold charge until discharge is needed. Smart charge functions allow intelligent charging to be set for variable tariff providers for both charging & discharging, automatically to benefit from supplier price.
Auto self consumption: Under self consumption mode, the energy generated by PV will prioritise supplying the house, then it will send power to batteries and then back to the grid. This is a default mode which will increase the self consumption rate & reduce the energy bill significantly.
Intelligent Working Modes: Weather compensation & Smart Octopus charging packages, self consumption mode for high tariff areas, charge priority mode for areas where grid power is unstable and force charges & discharges for variable tariff integration.
Smart EPS (Emergency Power Supply): Plug & play integrated change over, seamless switching under 10ms and auto backup power for the critical local emergency supply.
Intelligent battery integration: Remote upgrade for BMS firmware, wide range of compatible battery brands, auto 'wake-up' function of lithium battery from sleep mode, essential info uploaded to LUX-server for quick ESS diagnosis and battery sharing with multi-inverters in single phase or three phase.
Advanced Parallel Units: Up to 10 units parallel and expandable to 120kW. Single phase and unbalanced three phase paralleling.
